We're your best friends...the front-yardigans

Just the other day, Max was wondering when it will be summer and we can be backyardigans again. Well today we started the process. But in the front yard mostly.

It was a day of playdates. In the morning, his friend Quin from preschool was over. I sometimes think that the two of them look like each other. Although now that Max just got his haircut, the resemblance isn't there so much. They also have alot of the same clothes too. In fact, they've already come home from preschool wearing each other's jackets by mistake. They had alot of fun playing outdoors today. They made sure that Max wore the same fleece that Quin had on so that they'd "be on the same team".

In the afternoon Michelle came over with Miss E and Miss K and we played in the back yard and in the front yard. Aren't they just the cutest little girls ever?! And our neighbours and friends down the street stopped by and ended up playing for a bit too. Bubbles...cars....baseball...soccer....chalk....snacks. Lots of fun!

Not sure exactly what we're doing this weekend. We really wanted to go down to the Tulip Festival in La Connor, Washington. But...with rain/snow in the forecast we might just have to cancel those plans. We'll play it by ear.
