You can't get much for a dollar these days. Especially when it comes to filling the gas tank on your vehicle. I saw it listed at $1.32/litre today. Good Grief.
However, there still are deals to be found. Such as that cute little cactus type candle (see pictures above) at the Superstore today. Comes in a pack of 2 for $1.99. And the Pop Up Pirate game - $1.00 at my local thrift store. SCORE! Must have been a birthday gift someone didn't want. Brand new in the box - stickers were still on the sheet waiting to be applied to the game. Max and I have been having lots of fun with it...although that darn popping pirate scares me more than him!

That pirate game is awesome - I have been looking around for one for us too. Both Emily & Brandon played with it during their speach therapy & LOVED it. It was nice to see Keith on the weekend - missed you & Max though. Danny was at your dad's & just missed Keith-that would have made Danny's day to run into him not even knowing he was in the province!
Have a good day - Jane
