Max and Grandma spent some quality baking time together just before we flew back home. Using all that yeast dough (that rose out of control while we were at the shower), they made hot cross buns and a hot cross bunny for Max to take home. Sometimes it's a good thing I don't live within driving distance of my mom's house. For example, when she's doing yeast baking. Yummmmmmmm! My self-control literally goes out the window when I'm around that stuff.
Cute sidenote: At Max's music class this past week, they were learning the song "Hot Cross Buns" and Max was excited to inform his teacher that he baked hot cross buns with his grandma!
