Changes

There have been some changes around our house recently.

For those of you who have visited us - the guest room photo should look relatively familiar. Sad to say, it no longer exists. It is now Keith's office.

Effective June 1, NAC's Kelowna Office was closed. On the long weekend in May, we took our guest room apart and moved everything to a storage unit. Last Monday (one week ago) the office furniture and equipment moved in and Keith began working out of our house.

What exactly does that mean for us?

It means we have a move on the horizon.

Keith has been promoted to Electrical Operations Manager of the entire company. Up until this point, he was the Electrical OM of the West. While it's an exciting career move for him, it's extremely bittersweet for us.

This is not something that was just sprung on us. We've been aware of upcoming changes for the past couple of months but obviously weren't at liberty to say anything. Our apologies to anyone who was planning or thinking about visiting us this summer. Right now we have no idea when we'll be moving or where so we are unable to commit to visitors. Our most immediate concerns are my surgery this week, finishing off the school year for Max, getting our house listed with an agent, a couple of family camping trips that have been planned for a while and spending time with our friends that we've made out here before we have to leave.
