Summertime...and the living is easy!

Nothing too new and exciting going on. It's hot here. So this entire week we have been takin' it niiiiiice and easy and relaxing in our back yard pretty much all day long. Well, in the mornings we have soccer camp and we sneak in an errand or two. But the entire afternoon is spent in the backyard. Half of which is covered by a big ole shade tree and the other half is open to the sunshine. And every afternoon we are joined by Max's little friends. I suspect he thinks life is one great big playdate! Every day there are a bunch of energetic little kiddo's running around and having fun. Too keep everyone cooled down we have sprinklers going, little pools of water to splash in, a little slippery slide, waterguns, watermelon, popsicles and cold drinks. I've been taking a break from cooking as well just to keep the house from reaching the boiling point...sandwiches, bbq's, salads and lots of delicious cold fruit have been on the menu. YUMMMMMM! As for this weekend, we have more of the same planned. Whatever you're up to, stay cool and have fun!!
