The activities start early...

Since our house has been taken over by ladders and drop sheets and pails of paint and stuff like that, we don't have free reign of the place.

What to do...what to do...

Bring on Christmas celebrations EARLY.

Max is thrilled!

This morning he worked on his letter to Santa and finished it up. After school we glued together (I mean "iced together") a gingerbread house, I did the gluing and he did the candy decorating.

I'm scratching my head trying to figure out what's on the agenda for tomorrow...was caught a bit off guard by this. Suggestions are always welcome! :-)

The painting itself is going great. They have worked their way into the staircase to the top floor, the hall up there and the bathroom. Tomorrow they'll finish the final coats on those areas and then start on Max's bedroom and our bedroom, bath & closet. Tonight we're sleeping in the basement. Max is thrilled to be sleeping on the air mattress. Thank goodness. Because that means we get the spare bed! :-)

Pull out the play-doh! Make paper snow flakes and decorate them with white glitter (or sugar)! Make paper chains! Make and advent calendar! Have him make his own Christmas cards! Make bake-able dough ornaments for the tree! I love arts and crafts!!
