So it's a month after Christmas and I'm still posting photo's. Ugh. I promise...this is the end! These are from our little Christmas that we celebrated here in Kelowna on Dec 23 before flying to Ontario. We treated the evening of Dec 22 the same as we would Christmas Eve.
The first two pictures were taken on the weekend before Christmas - we went for a Christmas light drive complete with yummy hot chocolate in go-cups. We found an awesome lit up Christmas tree downtown on top of one of the parking garages. If you double click on that photo - you'll see Keith and Max in the right hand bottom corner - they are very tiny in comparison!
Back to Dec 22...last minute, we baked and decorated some sugar cookies to put out for Santa. Dinner was all kinds of yummy appetizers that we popped in the oven, salads and a really terribly delicious cheese fondue. Mmmmmmmmm! It was AWESOME!
Christmas morning (Dec 23) there was a very excited little boy around our house. Actually that's a bit of an understatement! Opening presents takes us all morning. We take our time. After a gift is opened, we take it all apart, set it up and play with it (if it's a toy) or check out what it's all about. During that time we snacked on fresh fruit, cinnamon buns and coffee...mmmm! It was wonderful.
After all the presents were opened, Max surveyed everything and announced "I must have been a reallllllly good boy!" Yes kiddo...I think that was true for the most part.
And after that totally and perfectly and wonderfully relaxing Christmas morning...the wildness began...of trying to get flights back to Ontario.
