Today's post includes a small selection of pics from the Gerber Christmas celebrations. The two little boys got these psychadelic remote control cars from Grandpa & Grandma - looks like they're having fun together! I always get a kick out of the way my brothers wrap gifts. Do you think Chad has any clue what Jesse is giving him for Christmas?! A goalie stick perhaps?!
The piano held the two little boys fascination throughout the course of the day...Max would bang away at the keys and they both would sing away with gusto - Away in a Manger....Jingle Bells.....etc. It was super cute to be a little mouse in the background and listen to what was going on.
Keith, Vanessa & Max designed and decorated a Gingerbread house. This thing was way better than the kit that Max and I put together earlier. Max was very concerned that people would sneak candy. He became the self-appointed candy police. The first time my brother Jesse walked into the room after it was completed, Max got all defensive and said "JESSE! DO NOT EAT THE CANDY!" And so it went.... However, by the end of our visit Chad convinced Max to start sneaking the candy's. I managed to capture the moment. They look pretty sneaky, don't they?!
Hockey, Hockey, Hockey. For as long as I can remember, after my mom's delish Christmas dinner, there is always a huge hockey game played outdoors on the driveway. (Last year was the exception because there was no snow and the driveway was a mud mess.) Everyone who wants to can participate. The little boys started out playing...but as you can imagine after a few scuffles, tears ensued and they retired from the game. Things can get pretty intense when it comes to hockey around there!
