We don't have a pool. Our backyard is teeny tiny. Wouldn't have room for one if we wanted it. So we make do with sprinklers and little plastic blowup pools and anything else we can get our hands on. It works for us.
I can't think of a better afternoon in all the world then when Max is playing with his little friends...their shrieks and giggles filling the air. Snacks of fresh fruit and winding down the afternoon with board games. It's perfect. Absolutely perfect. (Michelle...it brings back so many wonderful memories of our backyardigan summers in North Van.)
Wish I could bottle it all up for those winter dreary months when a pick-me-up is needed. I would if I at all possibly could!
