We've gone Banana's!

Yesterday afternoon was the Maxter's birthday party at Go Banana's. Go Banana's is an indoor climbing jungle place at local mall. A great place to have a birthday party since the kiddo's are busy running and climbing and jumping and sliding and playing - totally entertained the whole time. There's a party room specifically for birthday parties and you can pre-arrange to have food (hotdogs and juice boxes). Easy Peasy! We brought along some veggies & dip and fresh fruit to go with it. And instead of traditional birthday cake and ice-cream, we went with rice krispie squares. Super easy peasy! All of his little friends were able to make it and had a good time.(Judging by the noise they created, it sure sounded like it anyway!)
And the best part was...I didn't have to prepare my house or clean it up afterwards. Totally worth it for that factor alone!

Now that we've got Max's birthday celebrations totally out of the way, I can start gearing up for another big exciting birthday in our household this weekend. And no, it's not me. Which leaves Keith. He's turning "30 something" on Sunday. Max and I went out and did some birthday shopping for him this afternoon. Pretty excited about what we got him! Can't say what it is though...he reads this occasionally and we don't want to spoil the surprise!
