Happy Friday!

We're Busy....Busy.....Shockingly Busy....
La-la la-la-la la-la-la-la-la....
(little song keeps playing over and over in my head from one of Max's CD's. It applies!)

So....Max had his first week of pre-school and by Thursday afternoon (last day of school in the week) he was so tired, he had a complete melt-down when we walked in the front door. Not that it's a big surprise. It has been rather busy around here!

Someone has a big birthday in our household tomorrow. It's the big "FOUR"!!! Lots of party plans for little Maxter tomorrow and all weekend as he's invited to 2 other birthday parties. At pre-school, the birthday boy/girl gets to bring in treats to share with his class so yesterday we brought in a big plate of rice krispie squares. The kiddo's polished them off...no leftovers to be had.

Chad and Kaitlin have safely arrived and are staying with us for a week. We're enjoying having them stay with us. They picked up their little rental car this morning and today they are out and about touring the Abbotsford/Chilliwack area. Where there are lots of farms. Dairy Farms. Cows and "bossies"! Chad will be in his element!

This morning after we saw Chad and Kaitlin off for the day, Max and I headed down to a nearby rec complex for Max's first soccer class. He's enrolled in a 10 week soccer class and they get to play on the "big field" with artificial turf. SOMEONE WAS EXCITED!! Although that excitement faded quickly when they started playing games. In particular "What time is it Mr. Wolf". Max was so scared that the coach was going to catch them and eat them! I have never seen him like that...the whole time he was staying as far behind the group of kids as possible and trying to hold their hands (and the other kids wanted none of it!) Poor little guy! I joined him and held his hand so he felt a bit better...but he still hated the game. It was all better when they got to put on their pinney's and started playing a "real" game.

I'll be back later this weekend to post photo's of the birthday celebrations and festivities! In the meantime, here's hoping the weather is great where you are and that you have a fabulous weekend!
