Monday was a bit of an unexpected day. We had found out that Jon & Sheila would still be around for most of the day. Sooooooooo Max and I headed over to mom's for an impromptu-all day-cousins-playdate. Sunny fresh air + packing snow + rambunctious little boys = recipe for a perfect day.
There are a couple of ginormous snow piles in the yard from all the winter snow removal. The boys had no problems taking command and claiming the piles of snow for their own...

After a while, Uncle Jon came outside and before we knew it...there was a big rumble going on, on the trampoline. Boys and wrestling. I do not understand it. I just know that they love it. And thrive on it. And so for the next hour or so, the three little boys bounced around on the tramp, trying to charge and wrestle Jon. It was a losing battle on their part from the beginning. And I really don't know who had the most fun...the little boys or the adult?! ;-)

Halfway through, Max and Alex had a little strategy session together and discussed how they were going to "get him"...It began with a charge...

And that was the extent of the "great charge". They were just like a bunch of little puppies playing around. :-)Then it was lunchtime. What a bunch of tame little tired puppies around the lunch table! But they did get their second wind. In time for pics with grandpa and grandma and then a snowball fight with the aunts...

hot cocoa for all...

A fun day was had by all. And a certain someone slept reeeeeeeeeeaaaaaaaalllllllly good that night! ;-)
