March Break. It's this week. We're staying home this year. Keeping very busy with stuff around here. And so far so good. Friday afternoon when Max walked in the door from school, a few little decorations greeted him along with a stash of goodies...

The weather was def. less than desireable. Spring break indeed?!

Friday evening Keith arrived home from Ottawa just in time to take Max to hockey practice. Then there was an incident with the truck running out of gas on the way home and I had to rescue them and save the day (according to Max). We settled down for a quiet family movie night here at home once we had that under control.
Saturday brought Max's hockey game in the morning. Then errand running for me. Keith went to the Linwood house to do some wiring all afternoon. Late afternoon, my sister-in-law Sheila came over with the boys for a little visit. Before we knew it, it was time to head over to the Gerber house where the whole family was congregating for a homemade pizza and chocolate fondue night. It was all quite delish! And the little boys...oh the little boys...their first time ever experiencing the joys of chocolate fondue....they sure ENJOYED it!

Having a chocolate fondue night was the brainchild of my brother Chad. And poor Chad. He spent the afternoon at Emerg getting diagnosed with pneumonia so he wasn't even able to be there to enjoy it. And if that wasn't enough...my papa bear wasn't feeling too good as Saturday evening wore on. Sunday morning he headed to Emerg to get checked out. Turns out he has the "start" of pneumonia. Those Gerber boys!
Very last minute, we had Jon & Sheila over for "brunch" on Sunday morning after church. We had discussed going out for dinner somewhere but then I decided it's just as easy if they come over to our place. There were lots of cooks in the kitchen...

Ah ha! What's this boys??!!....

Menu:
Scrambled Egg Burritos
Pancakes with Maple Syrup and Thickened Apples
Bacon and Sausage
Cinnamon Raisin Toast
Fresh Cantaloupe, Pineapple, Strawberries
Orange Juice and Coffee
Cinnamon Swirl Coffee Cake

YUM! I love brunch!! :-)

Crazy Aunt LeeAnne...always in the middle of it! :-)
Sunday evening we all reconvened back at the Gerber house to hang out and eat more food. Cause we were all oh-so-hungry of course. Of course! ;-)
