Painting Update

We spent the second part of Saturday up at the house. Keith was doing some wiring. LeeAnne and I were painting. Max was DSing. Ohhhhhh to be a kid. ;-)

While hubs worked hard wiring lights in the porch roof, the Maxter was doing this....

And that's pretty much the extent of our time there. Keith got the front porch lights, etc wired so now it can all be closed in and finished up by the carpenters.

Max....he just ds'd up a storm wherever he could find a spot to sit. To be honest, there was really nothing else for him to do so it worked out well to keep him occupied...

Meanwhile LeeAnne and I were getting quite sick of painting. It wasn't fun painting...we were doing the second coats on ceilings, interiors of closets, doors...stuff that you don't really notice. It felt like we weren't getting anything really accomplished. We finally just gave up and gave into our silly moods!

Max was more than willing to join the craziness...

(He wasn't. Instead of kissing me nicely, he licked my cheek. Ewwww. I detest that!)

Shortly after this, Keith announced he was finished wiring so we were able to head back home. This weekend will bring more painting. Most of the paint colours have been picked out now (Mom decided and finalized them today. Yippee!) so we'll be able to start painting the living room and master bedroom on Saturday. That's much more fun than doing the inside of a closet and ceilings. Much more fun!
