The Sunday of the Thanksgiving weekend was an absolutely gorgeous fall day. We woke up early and headed over to the North Shore for church. We were a bit early, so we drove back to check out the job site which is nearby. They had just paved the road and installed 26 speed bumps that week. So we had a rather bumpy lumpy drive to and from the plant. It was so nice to be back in a familiar church setting. We all thoroughly enjoyed the service. After church we drove out to Deep Cove and had brunch at a nice little restaurant overlooking the water. Max amused himself with cars (as usual) while we waited for our food to arrive. YUM YUM YUMMY!
In the afternoon we met our friends Laith, Hind and their three children at the mini-golf course and we all played a round of mini-golf. Girls against the guys. The girls won - we had the highest scores. Oh wait. That's not how you win with mini-golf, is it? HA! Next we all drove over to Cates Park and spent the entire afternoon there - at the playground, playing soccer, jumping in huge leaf piles, making leaf houses and enjoying the fresh outdoors. It was wonderful. We went out for dinner at Boston Pizza and then back to Laith & Hind's house for tea and dessert and more playtime for the kids. Someone was VERY tired on our drive back to the condo. Tuckered right out!
