Violets

In all my years, I never knew the name of these pretty little springtime flowers. To me, they are just those tiny purple violets that grow in the lawn in the spring.

Keith calls them Dog Tooth Violets. But ya know, I googled them online and I don't think that's what they are. They are just simply little wild violets.

Regardless. Around our house the name has evolved yet again. They are now known as Dog Tooth Violence. As per the Maxter of course...who else?!

I love violets. I remember picking them when I was a kid. Haven't done that for a long time but as I remember, they smell wonderful.

I'd love to see some violets, right now all we have is snow!
