Happy Father's Day

This little quote is in honour of three of the best "fathers" I know...

"A father is someone who listens with his heart, speaks with hugs and teaches by example."

1. My dad (who has always provided for his family cheerfully and lovingly. And who never complained or resented the time, effort and cost of raising a whole houseful of kids!)
2. Keith's dad (who did did a fine job of raising his oldest son to be a loving and trustworthy man who is not only a great husband but an awesome father!)
3. Keith (who is doing a wonderful job of raising our little son...teaching him, playing with him, providing for him and a million other things that I notice and appreciate so much!)

HAPPY FATHER'S DAY!!

The weather here today was rather dreadful - chilly and cool with periods of rainy drizzle. So we took it easy indoors. We went to church in the morning - it was a very nice communion service. We invited our friend Gerry over and had a late lunch/early dinner around 3:00pm of lasagna, ceasar salad, garlic bread and cupcakes (which Max helped to mix and decorate).

Looks like things should be looking up in the weather department this week - here's to sunny sky's and warm temps!!
