One sunny warm afternoon, the Jantzi's toured over to Spinreel Dune Buggy Rental in North Bend, Oregon for a couple of hours of ripping around on the sand dunes. Now my pictures do not do justice to how tall the dunes were. They were scary high! And you'll notice how happy we are in all the photo's. Probably because we are stopped and not driving. Poor Keith - he had a nervous wife and son with him - especially when he was roaring straight up and down the dunes like he owned them. Max and I much preferred the trails that took you to the ocean. At least they were flat stretches with no hills and we didn't have to worry about rolling the crazy thing!! :-) We did have a blast and would definitely do it again. You can rent all kinds of things from ATV's to Rangers (like we had) to dune buggies and they even have big dunebuggy buses that will give tours to groups of people. Craziness! :-)

Just look at that crazy little girl with big bug glasses in the 2nd photo! You look hilarious Patti! Man, this totally reminds me of Peru - we did the same thing... only we didn't drive the dune buggies but some other guys did and he was ripping up and down the dunes too! Absolutely crazy but what a blast! Makes for some great pictures too!
