We've reached the end of Spring break. It was a good week. But we are all looking forward to the start of regular routines and programs next week! :-) Especially since the weather has definately been less than desirable. This morning it was snowing...a wet type of snow....but snow none-the-less. Sure puts a damper on outdoor activities.
Yesterday we had a playdate over at our next door neighbour's place. Kelly has three sweet daughters and Max gets along well with them. During the winter we don't see our neighbours very much and we definately have to make more of an effort to get together or months can go by without seeing each other. Summertime is a whole different story...lots of playdates since everyone is outside all the time!
This morning Max and I ventured over to the Vancouver Aquarium. The last time we were there was about a year and a half ago. We had annual passes at the time and went quite often. Had a bit of Aquarium overload actually so we took a break. It was good to be back again. They've changed everything around and have added lots of new exhibits including jellyfish and a frog area. Our favourite thing by far was the Dolphin Show. I could watch it every day I think and never be tired of it. Today they had four dolphins performing and jumping. Max loved it. I loved it! It was the highlight of our visit. This afternoon we had a playdate with our neighbours down the street. Pat and her kiddo's Ryan and Madeline came over for a few hours. Ryan and Max attend the same preschool and get along great. Pat brought Starbucks coffees with her and we were able to have a nice visit together while the kids played.
Now we're just relaxing....waiting for "honey" to get home from work and looking forward to "Family Movie Night" tonight. And spending the weekend together. YEAH! We love weekends around here! :-)
