Happy Mothers Day 2008

It's been a GOOD day!

Started off with being served breakfast in bed by my two favourite boys. (Notice I'm not posting any photo's of that. Bedhead anyone?! HA!) We made sure to take a typical "Mother's Day photo in front of a flowering plant" before heading off to church. Gotta have one of those pics for the old photo album. After church, we decided to go to Earls for lunch - it was delish! Max and Keith were clowning around a bit while waiting for our food to arrive - hence the photo of Max wearing his daddy's specs. After we lunch we took a drive up Cypress. Still quite a bit of snow up there. Picked up some Starbucks coffees on the way home. Keith and Max played a couple of rounds of croquet in the backyard, climbed a tree and enjoyed some apple snacks. We called our moms to wish them a Happy Mother's Day (the most important part of the day!) and have been relaxing the rest of the time. It's been truly delightful - the only thing better would be to spend time with our moms in person. But since that's not possible this year, I think we are having the best day ever!

I'm signing off to play some games with my boys. "Trouble" is the first one on the list. We love playing that game...except things can get a little intense if the youngest member of our party starts losing too many games - without going into detail, I'm sure you can guess the outcome then. LOL!
