What are little boys made of?

Snips and snails, caterpillars and pink wiggly lizard tails...that's what little boys are made of!

At the end of August, Max had a sleepover at Grandpa & Grandma's...

When I came to pick him up, he was very enthused about a green caterpillar he had befriended...

Grandpa came driving in the lane at just the right time...

Max was very excited to show him off and share him as well...

Now I am def my father's daughter. We both don't like creepy crawly things. This was a bit of a stretch for Grandpa to handle, being so close to that green caterpillar and remaining cool calm and collected. And a bit of a stretch for me to take the pics.

Someone thoroughly enjoys the tree swing...Lots of enjoyment has been had on it this summer.

Can you believe that it was only a month ago that the hazy lazy days of summer were still in effect? Everything was still green and the weather was hot and humid...what a difference the month of September brings.

According to his grandparents, the Maxter had a most excellent sleepover at their house. He even convinced them to have a campfire at night. Just the three of them. All for the love of a little grandson! Hands down, his most favourite thing was listening to stories on tapes. Here's the proof...

P.S. The next few posts will be mostly about summer happenings. Just trying to get caught up.
